Why Aerate and Dethatch Your Lawn?

There are two commonly missed lawn-care practices that will help to create and maintain a healthy lawn: dethatching and aeration. Thatch is a build-up of plant material that can prevents water, nutrients, and air from reaching the roots. Similarly, compacted soil causes the same problems.
