Wintergrazer is well adapted throughout many parts of the U.S. It is excellent in combination with clover as a nurse crop because of its early maturity and ability to maintain its upright growth. It does not mat down and smother the clover that is getting established underneath it. It can reach a height of 4 to 5 feet tall and is very fast to establish, producing deer feed in as little as 14 days in ideal conditions. Wintergrazer rye grain is preferred by deer compared to ryegrass and it is more cold tolerant. Rye is the most cold tolerant of all the cereal grains.
QuickBayt® Spot Spray can be applied on virtually any surface in and around hobby and recreational farms and rural environments where house flies congregate — cattle, sheep and goat facilities, dog kennels and horse stables. Easy to apply.
This Rye Grass is a Gulf annual variety that grows well throughout the fall and will last till spring. It is a fast growing variety that loves sun. Safe for forage purposes. May be used in lawns, pastures, and wildlife food plots. Winter Rye and other winter annuals provides a high-quality forage alternative to traditional winter-feeding programs that rely heavily on stored forages. Rye varieties developed for high forage yield allow valuable grazing time in late fall and early winter and again in early spring. Use of winter rye is most appropriate for classes of livestock and wildlife with high nutritional needs.
